T6 W4 (WITH PICTURES)

Happy Birthday to me! Thanks for everyone who sent gifts, I loved each and every one of them! A family in one of the wards we cover actually threw me a surprise party, which was sweet. They totally had me going too. I had a couple of random people show up with gifts from back home in Arizona. I guess that's just a perk of serving in the valley.

Some good news, We committed Chelly, the person who house we're helping to clean, to being baptized on April 25. She has a long way to go, but she's taking the steps there. We've also had success with the new Easter video 'He Lives'. We've used it to get into houses where we couldn't have before, and to help members do missionary work. If you haven't watched it yet, you should, it's pretty good.

You learn a lot of important things on a mission, a lot of important lessons. I think that's my favorite part of being out here; learning lessons I wouldn't have at home. It's been a really awesome experience.

Not a whole lot else has happened. I'm looking forward to going to conference with Stacee, one of our 'slowpoke' investigators. We're hoping that something will click with her there.

Well, that's about it. I hope you all have an awesome week!

- Elder Martineau

This is a picture I was texted by someone in Gunner's ward, on his birthday!

These are pictures sent from Denise Lingen from the ward Gunner is serving in. She said. " Elder Martineau and Elder Lybbert came over today for a few minutes to have a squirt gun fight with my kids."
